We have an extensive range of Prom dresses available and would be delighted to welcome you along to view our collection.

Our two key PROM PROMISES to you!

1. We will never sell the same dress (even in a different colour) to two girls from the same school unless you specifically request twinning with your best friend(s).

2. Should the dress you order not be delivered in time for your event (even if due to circumstances outside of our direct control) we promise to offer you an alternative or full refund, whichever your preference.

Our onsite seamstresses will ensure the final perfect fit for your specific gown, meaning you can have total confidence that you will look amazing on the big night. During 2022 and 2023 we handled over 200 dress alterations to prom dresses purchased from other outlets so please remember wherever you purchase your dress you can bring it along for those vital final finishing touches! We strongly advise you to book your appointment asap for your alterations as you may miss out on an appointment, and we don't want to disappoint any prom girl.

Top Tips when Prom Dress Shopping

1. Don't leave it too late - Most boutiques will have their following years new lines in by October / November so think about starting to window shop then. The prom promise we offer means we will not sell the same dress to different girls in the same school so you don't want to miss out on your dream dress by someone beating you to it! At Studio18 you can secure your dress with a deposit and pay the balance once you collect your dress closer to the prom date.

2. Give some early thought to the style of dress you feel you want but keep an open mind and try different styles from our range in order that you don't miss a style or colour that may just surprise you. Our experienced staff are here to help you get it right - take your time and book a second visit if you need it!

3. Bring some family and friends by all means to help you make a decision but at the end of the day its your choice not theirs - too many opinions can sometimes get in the way!

4. Don't forget to bring shoes, preferably with heels the height you intend to go for on the night so you get an appreciation of the correct length you need.

5. Don't worry too much if the dress you fall in love with is not on our rails in your exact size. We can usually order it in for you and if we can't then our in-house seamstresses are on stand-by to work their magic! These clever ladies can usually adjust a dress as required - remember the dress is only half the story - the fitting and sometimes the shapewear we can provide will make all the difference. You are in safe hands!!

We are delighted to have been appointed stockists for both Tiffanys and Hermione Collection Prom Dresses and have a range of dresses for you to try on and purchase in store or order for later delivery whichever your preference along with sale dresses also available off the rail. Studio18 will also be launching new collections for the 2024 season. We strongly recommend booking your appointment early to ensure you secure the dress of your choice.

Your Prom Questions Answered

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, if you are wishing to try dresses on, as we want to make sure you have an uninterrupted and relaxed experience. Please call 07818 416576 directly to arrange a date/time that is available and works best for you or click our "Book Now" button above in order to choose your preferred date and time yourself. If school or family commitments mean that you are unable to visit us during our normal opening hours, we very often work around school hours to offer late evening appointments or extended weekend options so please call directly to discuss.

Am I able to spread the cost of my dress?

Yes, we will always require at least a 50% deposit, but payment plans are available after this, typically involving two further 25% instalments. Should you find the perfect dress off the rail then naturally it will need to be paid for in full before it leaves the premises.

What about alterations?

We can handle any alterations required in-house with our vastly experienced team of seamstresses. Any alterations needed are discussed with you one to one and any associated costs are agreed upfront.

How long will my dress take if it needs to be ordered in for me?

Any dresses we need to order on your behalf typically take anything between two and ten weeks depending on the date you place your order and stock availability. To ensure that you get the dress of your dreams regarding style and colour please allow plenty of time and book your appointment early. If not in stock the dress has to be completely made on your behalf hence the ten week wait. Obviously off the peg dresses are always available. Clearly, we will have discussed with you the date of your event and specific requirements before any decisions to order on your behalf are taken. Please remember that once you have ordered your dress, we cannot offer refunds if you have simply changed your mind so we will help you to make sure the dress you finally order is the one you want.
